A. Introductory Program
This program is appropriate for the young athlete with no (or minimal) Taekwondo sparring experience. The athlete will be taught the fundamentals of stance, footwork and kicking techniques. The competitive aspects of sport Taekwondo will be introduced by using light contact sparring activities.

B. Intermediate Program
This program is available to junior athletes who have participated in the Introductory Program and achieved competency in the fundamentals of sport Taekwondo. Basic techniques will be developed into the skills necessary for success in competitive sparring. There is an increased emphasis on supervised sparring in this program.

C. Strength & Conditioning Program
Junior athletes enrolled in either the Introductory or Intermediate program are encouraged to participate in a functional training session which takes place on Saturday from 9:30-10:00 am at the Northeast Sport Training and Rehabilitation (NESTR) facility. The objective is to enhance development of the athlete's general motor skills of strength, speed, agility, balance and coordination. The instruction for this component of the curriculum is provided by the professional staff of NESTR.
